The Alta Valle del Cervo House Museum was founded in 1987 to collect, document and disseminate Bürsch's material and immaterial culture, unique in the Alpine panorama. Since 2000 it has been a member of the Biella Ecomuseum network and actively participates in its activities.
It is housed in a traditional house in Rosazza, completely renovated in 1876. Inside you can visit more than fifteen rooms, spread over four floors that allow for an exhibition divided into living environments and themes: the stable, the kitchen, the workmanship. of the syenite, the ancient professional building schools, the workers' mutual aid societies, the centuries-old emigration of men, the strong role of women. Visitors and families are welcomed by the guides in traditional festive dress, the gipoun and immersed in the culture and tradition of the past. Volunteers not only organize visits to the House Museum, but also guided tours to discover the Upper Cervo Valley, nature walks to collect herbs and to see the foliage in autumn and educational workshops, in collaboration with nature guides. The goal is to help enhance the area and make it known as much as possible, making you discover its wonders and its jewels.
