Biella Città Arcipelago is a collaborative laboratory of territorial planning and development aimed at the sustainable prosperity and creativity of the Biella area, which is inserted and merged with the path and projects of Biella UNESCO Creative City.
The general objective is to systematize an inclusive organizational model that enhances the organizations and experiences made in the field of sustainable development of the Biella area, reflecting the idea of the Archipelago, in which each island with its own specificities is connected to all the others.
The "islands" are therefore represented not only by the urban agglomerations of the 74 municipalities, but also by the themes that emerge as a glue between different bodies and organizations that operate in the Biella area and that go in the direction of responding to the needs of the population in a participatory path that is consistent with the territory.
These islands are represented by thematic tables made up of institutions, organizations and projects (past and present) that, using demopractic art, want to contribute to designing the future of the Biella area in a choral and coherent way.
