Felicita Carrera Ottino started the business in 1938 with millstones coming from the Donato mill. During the Second World War the mill played a vital role, as it ensured the supply of essential raw materials to the inhabitants of Magnano and the neighboring towns. Subsequently, the family support business passed to his son Giovanni, a farmer and rancher who, with the help of his wife Livia, managed to keep the business running. After a long and careful renovation, Pietro and his son Ludovico have resumed reusing the mill and grinding, applying the methods of the past.
