The Schneider Group is an international network that operates in the trade and production of the first phase of processing wool, cashmere, silk and precious natural fibers. The group is active in 14 countries around the world with commercial offices, wool combing plants, cashmere recovery plants and wool and by-product treatment plants. The company is committed to the following projects in the field of sustainability:
- Authentico: integrity program to ensure high animal welfare standards and best farm management practices.
- RWS: collaboration project with Textile Exchange for the support and adaptation of farms to Responsible Wool Standards.
- ONU Agenda 2030: development project of the Responsible Cashmere Standard together with UNDP and Textile Exchange to increase the welfare of Cashmere goats.
- Zero emissions: the company's commitment to become "climate neutral" by 2022.
- Responsible Vicuna Fiber: with the Sanin project in Argentina, the standard of sustainable vicuna breeding has increased and the protection of this endangered species is guaranteed.
- Investments in blockchain technology to track the company's commitment to sustainability and animal welfare.
