Co.s.r.a.b. is the Consortium for the Disposal of Urban Waste of the Biella Area which includes the 74 municipalities of the Province of Biella. The Consortium has legal personality under public law and carries out all the large area governance functions relating to the municipal waste service, as required by national and regional laws, in compliance with the sector regulations, the Regional Plan and the Area Plan. The Assembly is made up of all the Mayors of the Municipalities of the Province of Biella. The operational arm of Co.s.r.a.b. is S.E.A.B. S.p.A, the in-house providing company belonging to the Biellese municipalities that deals with the collection and disposal of waste. The consortium organizes, in collaboration with some local associations, cleaning and removal of abandoned waste in the Biella municipalities.
