Centro Piante Scarlatta

The nursery of the Scarlatta Plant Center was born in Biella in 1924 thanks to Celestino Scarlatta who introduced, in addition to gardening and the traditional cultivation of fruit plants, the multiplication of roses by grafting, an innovative technique for that time and pioneering in the Biella area.

The center is committed to the use of natural zero-impact products, offering a line of homeopathic products for plant care. Thanks to the use of these special substances, it is the plant itself that emits insect repellent substances and produces an unpleasant environment for parasites and fungi. In fact, we are usually used to killing insects or treating the disease directly. With this system it is possible to act preventively, strengthening the defenses of the plant, so that it can itself activate an internal self-defense mechanism, without disturbing the beneficial insects.
